CLAIMS PROCEDURE

At CIB we understand that whether it’s your business or your personal belongings, all your property needs to be protected from loss or damage so that should anything happen, you will not suffer the financial loss but be in the position to replace the damaged or lost items – with ease and peace of mind.

As a valuable CIB client, we would like to ensure that your claims process is seamless and efficient, so we have provided you with some basic guidelines.

How to submit a claim

  • Contact must be made with your broker as soon as you are aware of the claim.
  • The broker will facilitate the process between CIB and yourself.
  • Alternatively, if you contact CIB directly, a CIB claims technician will handle your claim and send you all the relevant forms.
  • You can download your claims forms from this website once you have logged on to the Online Services.
  • The claim form must be completed and returned to CIB where a claims technician will advise you of any other supporting documents that may be required.
  • Once all the documentation and information regarding the loss or damage has been processed and agreed upon, your claim will then be settled in our normal efficient manner!
